Announcing An Event of Great Importance and Magnificence!

Hiya one and all!

I'm sooooo excited to be announcing the return of Legends of Western Cinema Week! Hosted this time round by Olivia (of Meanwhile, in Rivendell), Hamlette (of Hamlette's Soliloquy), and myself here at Along the Brandywine. There'll be movie reviews, a tag, games, some fun goodies, and lots and lots and lots of enthusiastic and potentially highly biased opinions and discussions on any and all things western.

You don't have to be a western fanatic to participate (though if you're not, our deep plot is to have converted you by the end of the week, consider y'selves forewarned... hee, never mind, just teasing ;D). But seriously, it's going to be so much fun and, no matter how much you are or aren't into them as of this moment, we'd love to have you!

Oh, and it's July 21-27. (Sorry, kinda important detail there.)

Review-wise, if there's a specific film you know you'll want to do, you can leave the title in a comment on any of our announcement posts. There's no limit to the number of people who can review a given film (as aforementioned, lots of discussion and opinions are excellent) so if you see one that's already claimed, but you'd like to do it, don't hesitate and just let us know.

And below are our lovely buttons, courtesy of the talented Olivia! Grab one for your sidebar and feel free to share away and spread the word!

Now do hop over and check out Olivia and Hamlette's blogs, and be sure and comment if you're as excited as we are!! ;)

  3. YAY! This looks so fun!!! Y'all are three of my favorite bloggers and it's been so long since I've participated in a blog party! COUNT ME IN! (Unless of course something changes drastically with my free time...but hopefully not. :))

Put me down for reviewing Wanted: Dead or Alive, please. Thank goodness I have nearly a whole month to get my thoughts in order and write it. ;)

    2. Hey there, came over from Olivia's blog! :) I'm quite excited about this party, and am planning to participate! Natalie and I apparently are having the same thoughts, because I'm planning to post about Wanted: Dead or Alive as well! ;D Not sure if it will be an official review exactly, but it shall be some sort of fangirling something of a post, I'm sure. XD

I'd love to hear your thoughts and look forward to further confabulation. Please just be courteous to one and all. Oh, and I love thoughts on old posts, so comment away!

(Also of late -- what with time being finite, and Life Happening + managing multiple blogs and computer issues and all that -- I sometimes have to alternate between creating new content and replying to comments, but rest assured I'm thrilled to hear from each and every one of you and always hope to reply thoughtfully in full ASAP. <3)
