  1. Wow, apparently I never pay attention to these details. XD I only have a few guesses but I'm utterly lost for the rest.

    1. Jane Eyre? I have no idea what version it would be, sorry!
    4. Ugh, this seems so familiar! Emma 2009? I actually haven't seen that, but it reminds me of some pictures that I've seen.
    6. Emma (1996)?
    10. Persuasion (2007).
    13. Pride & Prejudice (1995) (That orange seems like something Caroline would wear)
    14. Amazing Grace (2006).
    15. I should know this!
    17. Little Women (2017, the Masterpiece mini series)
    18. Pride & Prejudice (2005)?
    20. North and South (2004). Once again, haven't seen it but it seems to have that same lighting.

Thanks for another fun game! This was challenging and I'm looking forward to the answers.

  2. I feel like I should recognize more of these, but I can only take a guess at the ones I've listed:
    2. Edith Adelon and James Percy in The Inheritane (what a comfort movie)
    8. Is this Percy and Marguerite Blakeney in the Anthony Andrews Scarlet Pimpernel?
    13. The Eltons in the newest Emma?
    20. John Thornton and Margaret Hale in North and South

    3. Oh um... wives and daughters Molly and Roger?
    4. Marianne & Colonel Brandon??
    5. Emma & Mr. Knightley
    7. Our Mutual Friend - Bella & John
    8. Sir Percy Blakeney & Marguerite
    18. Lizzy & Mr Darcy (P&P)

  4. Arggghhh, I can't remember most of these! Isn't no. 13 Mr. Elton and his wife in Emma? And for no. 20 I'm gonna guess Margaret Hale and John Thornton from North and South. And I *think* no. 2 is from The Inheritance (1997). Other than that I'm clueless.

  5. Dear Heidi,

I think most of these are from book adaptions that were made later than my usual era of films, so I don't recognize them. However, I have to at least try to guess on the one black-and-white image, which is probably from my preferred era. Is that from "Wuthering Heights?" It looks like the scene when Edgar (David Niven) and Cathy (Merle Oberon) are talking in the garden during her convalescence.

    Yours Hopefully,

    Tiffany Brannan

I'd love to hear your thoughts and look forward to further confabulation. Please just be courteous to one and all. Oh, and I love thoughts on old posts, so comment away!

(Also of late -- what with time being finite, and Life Happening + managing multiple blogs and computer issues and all that -- I sometimes have to alternate between creating new content and replying to comments, but rest assured I'm thrilled to hear from each and every one of you and always hope to reply thoughtfully in full ASAP. <3)
