The photos you posted are very familiar, and Jeff York as a pioneer -- I'm betting my library when I was a kid had it.Hamlette (Rachel)https://www.blogger.com/profile/11961916847426233995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8412327638222072810.post-37620882998160483462016-08-13T09:17:21.000-07:002016-08-13T09:17:21.000-07:00(ALSO. Disney does it the best :D

And I really enjoy stories about the wagon trails (usually), so I'll have to keep an eye out for this! You feel for her so much. I can't imagine the awful, paralyzing fear that goes through mothers when they see their children in a life-threatening situation.Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00315660089925645214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8412327638222072810.post-40254257813485516812016-08-09T09:03:01.098-07:002016-08-09T09:03:01.098-07:00Yes, I've seen it. Being a huge Davy Crockett fan, and having read the book it was based off of many times as a child, it was the predicted outcome. :)

I enjoyed it, though as you say, it isn't the most outstanding or amazing film. It is fun in a simple, quiet way. And it stars Fess Parker! It does make a great child friendly western for the little ones and is another of those old Disney films that unfortunately became quite obscure and forgotten.

Thanks for the review, I enjoyed it!Anniehttp://www.thewesterndesk.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8412327638222072810.post-49151781099866282872016-08-06T07:53:38.960-07:002016-08-06T07:53:38.960-07:00No, I've not seen this--it looks cute, though!...No, I've not seen this--it looks cute, though!
