The Emma Party Has Arrived!! (Kick-Off, Tag & Give-away)

So—after sundry adventures this morning (as you can probably all tell from your dashboards ;))—this post is finally ready to go up—bringing with it the Emma Party at long last! And thank you all so much for joining me!!! I’ve been looking forward to this tremendously and can’t wait to share the excitement with you all!! :)

Emma Week Tag

Here are the tag questions. After you’ve answered them (putting a link back here somewhere in your post), comment back here with a link! (And there are a few further details/notes on this lower down under point #4.)

~ Discovering Emma Week Tag ~
1. Have you ever read Emma?
2. If so, is that how you first made her acquaintance? (If not, feel free to elaborate!)
3. Do you have a favorite film adaptation?
4. Favorite dress(es) from that film?
5. Share a line you love from either the book or movie/s—several if you like!
6. Is Emma one of your favorite heroines? Why or why not?
7. What is one of Emma’s strengths (good qualities)?
8. Describe in one (or two…or three) sentences, why Mr. Knightley is so wonderful.
9. Why do you think Mr. Knightley and Emma are so well suited to each other?
10. Would you rather spend a week in Highbury with the Westons—on Abbey-Mill Farm with the Martins—or in London with the John Knightleys?

Naomi of Wonderland Creek is soon going to have up some “Emma” games and quizzes for you all! (She also made the gorgeous “Emma” party header for me…isn’t it lovely?) The games etc. will be over on her blog, so you can use the blog button at the very top of my right sidebar (or click here). Do enjoy!

~ #4 ~

Don’t forget to grab the tag questions!! Also, I’d love to have you do any other post ideas you like (a book or movie review, additional costume study, etc). I can’t wait to see what you all come up with! Be sure to use a “Discovering Emma Week” label for all your post/s, then when you’re done leave your link (for tag or otherwise) back here in a comment (in addition to having left your tag link in the Rafflecopter if you've entered the give-away)—and we’ll have a grand link-up early next week!

~

And now, here’s to a lovely week “Discovering Emma!”

    1. Naomi --
Quick technical question: If I draw someone else first whose preference was also the Lilla Rose hairpiece, do you have a secondary choice? Or would you rather just pass??

    1. Naomi,
No, you're okay! I'm going to be drawing five winners and then matching them up by hand. But the more items you do on the widget, the more points/entries you get. :)

I will definitely be doing the tag, though. :) Hopefully I can squeeze in some extras as well!

  4. All done with the tag! My answers are here.

I like all the prizes! I actually have the Elizabeth Bennet portrait from Audrey Eclectic, so her portrait of Emma would be neat to pair with it. I like your note cards next-best :-)

I'd love to hear your thoughts and look forward to further confabulation. Please just be courteous to one and all. Oh, and I love thoughts on old posts, so comment away!

(Also of late -- what with time being finite, and Life Happening + managing multiple blogs and computer issues and all that -- I sometimes have to alternate between creating new content and replying to comments, but rest assured I'm thrilled to hear from each and every one of you and always hope to reply thoughtfully in full ASAP. <3)
