Hope you've all been having a lovely summer! It's gone soooo fast here. But I do love the feel of late summer just as we're turning into fall. It has both a peaceful and exciting feel. And I'm also looking forward to Legends of Western Cinema Week coming tomorrow! Do you have anything exciting planned for the end of the season?
As always, feel free to join any time here until the next prompt goes up! 💜

August's prompt is:
A breadmaking scene in book or film
Hands down, this has to be my favorite breadmaking scene. Edward and Elinor finally being able to speak. In the kitchen. Brimming with emotion, it's endearingly sweet with just a touch of humor. Such a hard won yet satisfying ending!
(Just rewatched it to verify details and ahhhhhhh.... *happy sigh* So romantic!)
Have you seen the '08 Sense and Sensibility? (If you haven't seen it, I would recommend skipping the very beginning. Other than that, it's one of my favorite adaptations !)

🌿 Have fun and can't wait to see what y'all come up with! 🌿
Ahhh, I love this adaptation so much. It's actually my favorite Austen show! :D
ReplyDeleteOlivia,
DeleteAack... yes!! So happy to hear it. ☺️ If push came to shove, it's definitely my favorite S&S. 💜 The storytelling as a whole... & the depth of emotion... + the absolute sweetness ! 🥹 All so well done.
Yess, all so beautiful and plaintive! <3
