I enjoyed looking through these pictures immensely - especially the ones of the flowers and cows. I know not why, but I've always had a fascination with cows. :-p Oh, and the picture of the southwest pasture, it looks like the Shire. :-) Now I want to go on an adventure there! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!
You're welcome, Sarah! I'm so glad you enjoyed them! :-)
DeleteAnd an adventure sounds absolutely marvelous... If it's the Shire, walking sticks and picnic baskets would definitely be in order, don't you think? ;-)
Yes! Walking sticks are indeed what one needs on an adventure! :-) That, and maybe a few other Hobbits...
DeleteOh, these are so beautiful. I love the picture of southwest pasture. :)

Oh, thank you, Heidi!! And yes, I love open pastures rimmed by the trees and sky...and when I can get a good picture it's a double thrill. :-)
DeleteOhhhh, you live in such a beautiful place! Lovely photos!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the "morning mist" one, the trees, the cows, the sunset...and more!
Your dog is really adorable, by the way. :)
Thank you, Natalie! I'm so glad you liked them!!
DeleteYes, I really like that Rufus picture. We actually have (hem!) five dogs altogether, which makes for a lot of excitement...but it's fun. ;-)
Haha, I bet! We have 3 dogs-which is more than enough for us!
DeleteWhat we have an overflow of is cats-9 barn cats, to be exact. :) We used to have 12, but some of them don't come around anymore.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to take them with us when we move, but the buyers are super nice and love animals, so they're going to take them, along with our chickens. :)
We do, too! Over the past few years we've ended up with twelve cats altogether. Now we have eight and they're all very fun. Leaving yours behind must be hard...but it's so nice that your buyers love them and want to take them! It must make it a lot easier...knowing they'll be cared for.
DeleteI'm so excited your house is selling! :-) And yes, hopefully in the near future, I will be replying to your lovely email. ;-)
Oh my, that is so funny! Everyone I've ever met is pretty much shocked when I tell them how many cats we have...haha, now I know I'm not the only one with so many! :)
DeleteIt IS going to be very hard. For me, it's one of the hardest things about moving! I've had them since they were kittens-I even saw some of them be born! That was a very cool experience. :)
But yes, I was SO happy when the buyers said they would take them. I didn't want to give them over to an animal shelter or anything! :)
Thanks! I'm pretty excited, too. :)
HOW did I miss this post? I love these photos! Especially the roses by the creek.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like them!! I love those roses, too...especially when they climb up in the trees or fall in cascading masses over the creek. :-)
DeleteLovely lovely lovely photos...what a beautiful place you live in I love the way you named your calves they are so cute...those wild flowers are absolutely gorgeous thanks Heidi for sharing,
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Thank you, Laura! You're most welcome!! :-) And yes, we had a lot of fun with the calf names... :-)
